Technical regulations
We take your attention that FIA starts the final discussions concerning the preparing the new technical regulations that will officially be in force from 1st January 2010. A few of innovations will be act from 1st January 2009.
Manufactures already prepare the new cars according the new regulations (we know that Mitsubishi already presented their new MRX-09).
The innovations particularly concern the weight scale, in T2 will be permitted to use the gearbox and differentials from other vehicle models, but with compulsory registration, in T1 the cost limits will appear for the main parts and aggregates and etc.
FIA is sure that the new technical regulations will help to reduce the financial costs of private teams and to increase the competition between them.
Technical regulation will be approved in the World Council of FIA and we will publish these innovations.
