The future of Baja GB hangs by e thread!

2008 seasons shocks continue...

After cancellation of the event of World Cup in Argentina ("Por Las Pampas Rally") this year because of lost of main Sponsor, the same situation happened last Monday for the Baja GB (event of FIA Baja Cup).

The Welsh Assembly Government decided against honouring a gentleman's three-year agreement to cover any financial short falls in the event whilst it became established and was able to attract major sponsors in its own right..

Baja GB have been organized for 5 years and got the prestige FIA-status, last year during the Baja GB Russian pilot Boris Gadasin won the FIA Cup.

During last days the Organizers and FIA officials are trying to find a solution. If it could not be done on Monday 11 of August they will annouced about Baja cancellation.
