Planning Calendars 09!

Russian Cross-Country Championship finished. After last event in South of Russia - Rostov city, the Champions 2008 were defined.

Our congratulations to Ruslan Misikov (T1), Dmitry Pavlov (T2), Yuri Borovikov (N) and Vladimir Chagin (T4)!

In FIA Calendars there will be last event (UAE Desert Challenge) in World Cup and last event of Baja Cup  (Baja Portalegre).

The main attention now spares to both marathons - "Africa Race" and "Dakar", but also the teams start planning their programs for next sport season.

So, what we can expect in 2009? FIA prepared the draft Calendars, which include 5 event of World Cup and 7 events of Baja Cup.

As we can see, the timetable is very compact, the geography became wider, two news events are coming.

Russian Automobile Federation is planning the National Calendar for next year and trying to do their best to make it correct and allow Russian teams to start in FIA events, because the interest and presence of Russian teams in international events is increasing and become more professional.

The National Calendar should be approved in coming month!
