FIA International Cup for Bajas 2009 started – welcome to Baja “Northern forest”
Today, 26th of February, the Baja "Northern forest 2009" was officially started in Saint-Petersburg with administrative and technical checks and opening ceremony in the center of city.
Good job was made by Organizers to prepare the Baja in accordance with prestigious status of FIA Baja Cup event, that was received first time in this year.
41 competitors, including 18 vehicles in FIA classification has been entered in Baja.
Among the well-known names there are Boris Gadasin (the winner of FIA International Baja Cup 2007), champion of Russia Ruslan Misikov, foreign pilots - Miroslav Zapletal and Giovanni Manfrinato, Russian Alexey Berkut, team Georaid-RSG with Artem Varentsov (2nd place in Africa Race) and Igor Bondarev adn etc.
