Rali Transiberico 09: "One day before start!"
The final round of FIAWorld Cup 2009 is ready to meet its competitors in Portugal city Estoril.
5th edition of Rali Transiberico will be held from 17 till 21 June this year in current status, but unfortunately without its major person - Jose Megre.
Anyway Organizers - Automovel Club of Portugal (ACP) have made a great job to prepare the race and save the high quality of all sporting aspects.
The Entry List confirs this fact.
Russians Artem Varentsov and Roman Elagin
Among 53 cars there are a lot of world-famous pilots and teams. Top-10 includes two Russian pilots - Boris Gadasin (T1 category) and Artem Varentsov (T2 category), as well as BMW X-Raid team with four race cars, Carlos Sousa, Yahea Alheli and etc.
Nani Roma
Ex-pilot of Mitsubishi Nani Roma will test the BMW XCC in Portugal and is going further to join X-Raid team for the Dakar 2010.
In addition, 3 more crews from Russia will start this year in Portugal race. They are: Igor Bondarev (T2), Alexey Denisov (T2) and Alexander Mironenko (T1).
The race will start tomorrow with administrative and technical checks and ceremonial start in area of Casino Estoril.
